Barndominium Builder in Lincoln, AR

A barndominium builder in Lincoln, AR. These jobs are won or lost on the ground and the slab, and we do both of those ourselves. Most of the builders answering this search around here are in Rogers, in Oklahoma or in Texas. We are in Lincoln. A shop without a living end is the same build with less inside it.

Based in Lincoln, AR

Twenty years of shops and barndominiums out of Lincoln. We cut the pad, pour the slab and put up the shell

  • 1crew

    Dirt work and concrete

Around here those are usually two different companies. One crew does both, so the pad is level when the concrete arrives.

  • 3states

Northwest Arkansas, southern Missouri, eastern Oklahoma

Most of our work is around Washington County, out of our yard in Lincoln.

  • 6trades

One number for all of it

Concrete, dirt work, land clearing, demolition, cutting and coring, barndominiums. (479) 263-6916.

What’s included

A barndominium is won or lost on the ground and the slab

Pad, slab, shell and as much of the rest as you want.

  • The pad

Cut and compacted to carry the building.

  • The slab

Flat, square and the right thickness.

  • Plumbing and anchor bolts

Set before any concrete is poured.

  • The shell

Up and closed in, doors hung.

  • The finish out

As far in as you want us to go.

When you need it

When are you ready to talk about a barndominium?

If a couple of these are you, it's time for somebody to come out and look at the ground.

  • A wooden gate open onto a grassy field with a few trees

You have the land picked out

Where the building sits on the lot decides the pad, the drive and where the water goes, before any drawing.

  • A woodworking shop with a workbench and tools hung on the wall

You know what is going inside

A lift, a tractor, a camper or a woodworking bench each ask something different of the floor under it.

  • The empty inside of a steel building under construction, metal columns and a bare floor

A shop now and a home later

Plumbing and anchor bolts go in before the pour, so the living end gets planned now even if it is built later.

  • A steel building frame going up with a crane lifting the next section

You have a kit or a builder

The shell is only as square as the slab under it. Somebody still has to get the ground and the concrete right.

  • A grassy hill with a dirt track climbing it under a blue sky

    The spot is not flat

A slope is not a problem. It is a pad cut on the high side and filled on the low side to carry the building.

  • Two people signing a contract at a desk beside a model house

    A bank is involved

A lender may want stamped drawings. Far better to find that out at the start than after the pad has been cut.

Why it matters

Where a barndominium goes wrong

  • The pad settles

Fill never compacted moves after the shell is up.

  • The slab is out of square

Steel is cut to the drawing; the slab has to match it.

  • Plumbing came second

A drain not under the slab means cutting new concrete.

  • Three contractors

Dirt, concrete and shell, and none answers for the fit.

We cut the pad and pour the slab ourselves rather than handing it to somebody else.

What makes us different

Here’s what’s different about hiring us to build it

Three things, and every one of them is how we already work.

Get a Quote
  • Three contractors and nobody owns the fit?

One crew cuts the pad and pours the slab flat and square, plumbing and bolts set before the shell.

  • Builders quoting you from Rogers or Texas?

We're in Lincoln. The crew that looks at your ground is the crew that cuts the pad and puts the shell up.

  • Scared the price moves once the steel’s ordered?

We look at the ground and price it first. The shell and the finish out on their own lines, never buried.

How it works

What Happens After You Call

Three steps, and the only one you do is the first.

  1. Call and say roughly
    what size you want it

A shop, a barndominium, or a shop now with a living end later. Tell us what is going inside, because that decides the floor.

  2. We come out, look at
    the ground, price it

Where it sits decides the pad, the drive and the water. A price before anything starts, the shell and the finish out on their own lines.

  3. We cut the pad, pour
    the slab, put it up

Pad cut and compacted, slab poured flat and square with the plumbing and bolts set, and the shell up and closed in. Then your crew or ours.

The same build

Shops

A shop is the same build without the living end. Pad, slab, shell, doors.

Tell us what is going in it before we price the slab. A shop with a lift in it, a shop with a tractor in it and a shop with a woodworking bench in it do not need the same floor. That is decided before anybody orders steel, and it is a lot cheaper to decide it then.

FAQ

Before You Give Us a Call

If yours isn't here, call us and ask.

  • Yes. We cut the pad and pour the slab ourselves, and how far we go after that's your call. Plenty of people want a slab and a shell and their own crew after that. That's a normal way to do it. When we come out and look, tell us where you want us to stop.

  • There's no one answer, because it depends on what is going in it. A shop with a lift, a shop with a tractor and a shop with a woodworking bench don't need the same floor. Tell us what is going in yours before we price the slab, and we settle it before anybody orders steel.

  • We can't say until we come out and look at yours. Two things aren't ours: septic and utility connections beyond the building, and stamped drawings if a bank wants them. Those change your timeline more than ours, and we'll say at the visit if yours is heading that way.

  • Yes. The plumbing and the anchor bolts are set before any concrete is poured. That's included with the slab, the same as the pad and the footings. Where we stop is the building: your septic and utility connections beyond it aren't ours.

  • If you think you might, tell us before we price the slab. A shop is the same build without the living end, but the plumbing and the anchor bolts are set before any concrete is poured. The floor is decided before anybody orders steel, so bring it up when we come out and look.
